Greetings from the Benedictine Sisters! As you may know, we are committed as a community to the pursuit of peace. PAX is a motto for the Benedictine Order, and the word was engraved on the gates of ancient monasteries. Following in this tradition we have prepared a plan to trans-form our grounds into a Place of Peace. Our principal goal is to provide a place where all who seek quiet, prayer, meditation, beauty and peace may come and find that for which they yearn.

As a community we have always respected the sacredness of our green space. Now, as our surrounding community is rapidly developing, our desire to preserve the natural beauty of our grounds has deepened and we feel further called to share this space actively with our neighbors. We welcome those of all faith traditions and we continue to extend hospitality to all peoples.

We would be most grateful for your support in any way that you can offer it. While support in the form of a monetary donation may seem the most obvious need, underwriting a specific feature, suggesting other benefactors, providing materials or skilled assistance may all be useful. Any endorsement of our plan would be highly valued.
